Privacy Policy

This website is operated by Cream Clean (ABN 76 702 035 185). We provide solar panel cleaning, pigeon proofing, gutter cleaning, roof pressure cleaning and pigeon nest removal for homes and businesses across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, to the extent they apply to us, and we aim to meet that standard whether or not they strictly do.

We collect only what we need to respond to you and do the job:

• Details you give us when you use our quote form or contact us by phone, email or message: your name, phone number, email address, the suburb or address of the property, the service you’re asking about, and anything you choose to tell us or send us (for example, photos of your roof).
• Job records: quotes, bookings, notes and photos of work carried out, invoices and payment records, and any warranty or complaint correspondence.
• Technical information collected automatically when you visit this website, such as your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, and how you arrived at our site (including whether you came from a Google ad). See our Cookie Policy.

Please don’t include sensitive information (such as health details) or payment card numbers in the quote form or in messages to us. We don’t need them to give you a quote.

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare your quote.
• To schedule and carry out work, invoice you, and handle warranty claims, questions and complaints.
• To meet our legal, tax and insurance obligations.
• To measure how well our advertising and website work (for example, whether a Google, Facebook or Instagram ad click led to an enquiry).
• To send you marketing messages, but only if you’ve agreed to receive them (see “Marketing messages” below).

We don’t sell or rent your personal information.

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed:

• GoHighLevel / LeadConnector, the platform that runs our quote form and helps us manage enquiries and customer communications.
• Google, through the Google tag we use for advertising measurement.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram), through the Meta Pixel we use for advertising measurement.
• Other providers we use for things like website hosting, accounting and payments, and our professional advisers and insurers.

We may also disclose information where the law requires or permits it. Our social media links (Facebook and Instagram) take you to platforms with their own privacy policies.

Some of these providers, including GoHighLevel/LeadConnector and Google, are based overseas and may store or process information in countries such as the United States. We take reasonable steps to choose reputable providers, but we don’t control their systems, and their own privacy policies apply to how they handle information.

This website uses a Google tag and the Meta Pixel for advertising measurement, and our quote form is provided by a third party that may use cookies or similar technologies to work. Details, and how to control them, are in our Cookie Policy.

We’ll only send you marketing emails or text messages if you’ve agreed to receive them or the law otherwise allows it. Every marketing message will say it’s from us and include a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us at any time to stop. Messages about a quote or booking you’ve requested are not marketing.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above, and some records, such as invoices, must be kept for several years under tax law (generally five). When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we’ll notify the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us at info@creamclean.com.au or 0419 777 245. We aim to respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm who you are first, and in some cases the law may limit what we can delete or disclose, in which case we’ll explain why.
